What and where shall we take dinner tonight? That is the normal question of the day when my kids are home again... I didn't take leave today so I am really tired by the time I reached home... But it is good to "pamper" myself by taking them out for dinner.. and someone suggested that she wanted to take...

Fourth morning in Penang... the day we have to bid "sayonara" again to one another before we went our separate ways...For our breakfast, we woke up early so that we could have more time to spend with each other and we went for a scrumptious meal in Maxim Dim Sum again! This time we ordered something new...
With full and heavy stomach, we eased digestion in Queensball Mall which is just a short distance away from Sungai Dua... we walked around the mall, browsing around and buying nothing.. seriously, nothing was bought that evening.... it was a good sign, at least for my pockets... hahahaa....Thinking...
Our 3rd night dinner was taken in Wang Chao in Sungai Dua, along the same row with the Maxim Dim Sum we had in the morning. This is the second time we have been to this restaurant, it has been more than a year ago since we last came and I remember the food was not bad but the price is not that cheap.
Next agenda after the Maxim dim sum, we had our afternoon tea time around 3pm or so.. we drove all the way to Ayer Itam for the infamous Laksa. Using the GPS, we managed to find laksa stall.. as my sister used to say, quote..."the messier, the tastier"... oooopsss... no offence...the stall beside the...
Third morning in Penang...By now Andy is quite familiar with the island already, well, at least with some places of good food. After staying here for few years now, he knows at least 30% on how to go about ... hahaha....(have I mentioned he is poor in directions? Like mother, like son!)Back to our 3rd...
After the "heavy" meal, we took a stroll to ease digestion... we thought of going for our desserts in Delicious but we changed out mind last minute and landed ourselves near the Penang Free School... we were just too full to take in cakes and crepes... if only my stomach is more "elastic!"...
Second night in Penang...Feeling disappointed with our lunch as written in this post, we were looking forward to having a nice dinner in Straits Quay, Tanjung Tokong. This time we wanted to try German food and we heard some positive comments about Weissbrau, a bistro and bar that serves their...
We stayed three nights in B-Suite near Queensbay, this hotel is convenient to us in certain ways. The hotel rates are pretty cheap too, only RM135 for a very spacious room, as I said before, it can accommodate ten people if all were to sleep on the floor.. LOL..Very nice, right?Though the beds are a...
Second day in Penang...Andy left for work before 8am and the rest of us continued to ZZzzzZZ ... by the time we got ready for our first meal, it was nearly noon... the three of us really had a good rest after chatting into the wee hours of the morning... From B-suite Hotel, we drove to Georgetown...

At the lobby of Berjaya Times Square...Most shops were closed by...
To celebrate Andy's golden day, we went to Tao Cuisine in Berjaya Times Square in Penang. Took two days off to drive up north to celebrate Andy's birthday.... didn't really know what to buy for him... he seems to have everything that I can afford... hahahaa...When I asked him what he wanted for his birthday, he jokingly told me that I would never afford to buy for him.... ie. a Condo!!
Driving up north with my girl for a "birthday celebration!" Allowed my girl to drive some kilometers on the highway..... Despite gritted teeth and hair raising feeling, I showed a cool and steady appearance.. must give her some kind of confidence, right? But actually my heart was thumping very fast...
My girl's second home is none other than her uni hostel... For first year students, the hostel rooms are so-so only... cement flooring with a bit of holes here and there.. well, anyway, there is nothing much to complain since their hostel rates are less than RM150 per month... on the positive side, it is...
I am in my fifties, no more a bouncing "spring chicken" as someone said. I am getting more and more forgetful now... I even end up wearing my skirt the other way round and my t-shirt inside out....BUT....There are some "certain people" who say I look very young............. from behind, that...
