TODAY IS MY DAY OFF WORKING! Around noon, we went for a shopping spree again..this time to Arden Mall and our favourite shop is none other than MACY! Imagine... from noon, we spent eight hours straight at this shopping centre... Oh my goodness! Ladies... tsk... tsk... the hours just...
STARTED OFF OUR JOURNEY TO SAN FRANCISCO ON A SATURDAY MORNING... It was only a one hour half drive from our place and we reached there around 11am... Without wasting much time, we made our way to a chinese restaurant but it turned out to be the most "disappointing" moment of the day... anyway, I will skip...
PANCAKES WERE NOT REALLY MY CUP OF TEA UNTIL .....One fine morning my BIL showed me... or should I say.... he taught me how to make pancakes with these ingredients shown here... oh, the butter is missing.. it is one of the essential items not to be missed cos it is so "buttery" and it kind of "fattens" us...
WE PARKED OUR CAR AT THE HURRAH'S CASINO... and from there, we walked along the streets of North Lake Lahoe...Along the main road... mainly tourists and resorts...Wanted to try the carriage...But ended up giving her a pat only....Here we are.... Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel...And we could go up to the mountains...
NEXT WE STOPPED AT FALLEN LEAF LAKE... a campground and resort for locals and tourists... it has a narrow road in and out and most of the houses were up on the hills overlooking the lake...The road leading into the woods and dock...A mile away from the town...House on top of the hill....Fir trees all...
ANOTHER ONE MORE STOP AT EMERALD BAY ON THE WAY UP NORTH... There was one point where both lakes were visible on each side.... there isn't any barricades whatsoever on the sides..... the driver got to be REALLY good.... One wrong turn on the steering wheel, it will be "Sayonara" there and then.......
