Minggu lepas Google secara rasmi memperkenalkan Android 4.4 KitKat kepada umum bersama-sama pengenalan kepada model Nexus terbaru Nexus 5. Tidak lama selepas itu beberapa pengeluar telefon Android turut membuat pengumuman kemaskini berkenaan turut akan diterima pada beberapa model telefon Android mereka.
